The Old School Master's House
Imagine a house, built in 1805 and now lovingly and sympathetically restored to the highest standard. A house full of history and interesting stories set in the fascinating former county town of Bodmin.
Roscrea is that house, once home to the schoolmaster who established the first grammar school in Bodmin; home to his family, a cook, a housemaid and a nurse...and up to 14 boarding pupils from around the county.
Roscrea, now home to Sarah and Nick, offers you a uniquely Cornish welcome and we invite you to stay with us and enjoy the comforts of our home.
